Many years ago, when we lived in Sydney, we were very friendly with Grace Lord and Hedley. We would always sit together at shows, and help each other out if needed, so I guess you could say we have seen some of the most beautiful Tengwah Pugs

We have always been interested in Pugs, but with being so successful with the Pekingese we never thought of going into the breed then, as our time was taken up with our Pekingese.

When we moved to Queensland, we met a lovely lady called Pauline Willox and a little Pug called Aust. CH Godric Hayley’s Comet, bred by Phillip Richardson in Perth. Comet was a prolific winner in Victoria before moving to Queensland with Pauline.

Comet stormed into the ring, and won all before him. In Queensland he won countless Best In Groups and all-breeds Best In Shows. However Comet's highest accolade was winning Best In Show at the Toowoomba Royal under well respected judge Mrs Jocelyn Croad from N.Z. (now residing in Queensland).

Comet also left his mark as a stud dog and is behind many of today's Pugs here in Queensland. He lived to be a very old gentleman with Pauline and passed away at the ripe old age of about 14 years.

Our next big winner was Aust. CH Minkomo Marcie Raccoon, affectionately known as Marcie. Marcie was a gift to Noel and myself from Ken and Judy Smith of Minkomo Pugs.

Marcie went on to be a multi Best In Group winner, and was Runner-Up Best Exhibit In Show at the Brisbane Royal, also Best Opposite Sex In Show at the same show.

Marcie is behind all of our present day stock. Sadly Marcie passed away at 10 years of age.

Marcie produced for us a little bitch called Chindara Butter Side Up .. a very pretty little bitch. Babs never gained her title as she broke her hip when in Junior class. However, she produced well for us, and is the mother of Aust. CH Chindara Sticky Fingers (Morag). Morag also won well in the ring for us, and produced for us Chindara Lovin Spoonful.
